In 2013, Klim from Bigshot Toyworks started working with me on this Mother Earth sculpt. Somehow, my letterpress print popped into his periphery and he wanted to see it in a physical form.
With no investors, it took us a while to get it going into a finished piece. Throughout production, I would see it at various phases of development when bumping into each-other at a Comic Con or some other type of convention. The final version was unveiled to me in the alley of a delicious chicken restaurant in Asheville, NC.
Mother Earth was released at DesignerCon in 2016. The final product is a 14" tall wall-hanging ready, high quality hand-painted polystone designed by me while developed and produced by the geniuses at BigshotToyworks. Only 100 pcs made.
