I am a classically-trained part-time bank robber, but when I’m not doing that, I illustrate, create branding, merchandise design, rock poster art, album covers/layouts, mural installations, release books, focus on my own IP as a product, worth within the tech security industry, some lite music scoring and most importantly: screen print all of my art prints and posters.
Being an artist for a living always seemed like one of those daunting and impossible things …like being a rock star. Despite that, through a ridiculous amount of work, I’m able to combine my love for punk rock, iconography, teeth, branding, illustration, design & all-around jackassery into what I love to do.
To date, I’ve had the opportunity to create album art, posters, identity design and various merchandise for Facebook, Microsoft, AC Entertainment, Iggy Pop, Puscifer, The Acacia Strain, Paul McCartney, Invisible Creature, Guns ‘N’ Roses, J!NX Clothing, Faith No More, Melvins, Slayer, Danzig, Pearl Jam and a bucketful of other great experiences along the way. I’ve had a bunch of my posters shown in the Grammy Museum. What?
In 2005, Jeral Tidwell and I created Crackhead Press where the majority of the prints on this website were produced. We have also produced several art books of our sketches.
In 2012, I had the opportunity to design and do the layout for a book titled, “Amigos de los Muertos” which was published by Last Gasp and features illustrations by David Lozeau, Jeral Tidwell, Roberto Jaras-Lira and myself.
I currently spend about 8 hours a week writing music. Hopefully, you’ll be able to hear this venture at some point.
Each day is a new opportunity. I love to work. I appreciate & lust for clever.
