Where did the name Angryblue come from?
I just thought it sounded cool. That and I needed an AOL Instant Messenger name a while back.

What are your influences?
Challenging conversation, propaganda, poster art, engravings, bizarre humor, surrealism, esoteric imagery and iconography.

Will you do a custom tattoo?
No. But if you want to get something of mine done on you, hit me up and I’ll give you a reference for your artist. That’s the most flattering thing someone could do. I’d prefer for you to have the best reference possible.

What are your rates?
The projects I work on are wildly different from album art, to branding, music scoring. art installations, to merchandising for a whole tour. These projects work on a case-by-case basis.

Can I work for you?
Angryblue is a 2 person operation. Add on one more layer and it will be a disaster of biblical proportions. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria!

Will you do my band’s album art?
I’m always down for new projects. The detailed illustrations take time, though. So keep that in mind with your budget and we’ll figure out if we can rock something out together.

Think about what you want, artwork you enjoy, but don’t come to me with an idea so solid that you’re just puppeteering me. If that’s the idea, I’m sure someone else would be interested.

Also, a cover and tracklisting is a lot different than a 32-page booklet with a custom die-cut digipak and then also converting that to the vinyl friendly version of the layout.

May I use your Angryblue font for my logo?
Of course. However, I could design you something that is much more hard-hitting at this stage in my career vs using a typeface of my serial-killer hand writing from 2002.
